Community Forum: Economic Forecast by the Federal Reserve

Join The Berks Alliance for an overview of economic trends at the national and regional levels, with Ryotaro Tashiro, Senior Outreach Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.

Ryo will provide an economic forecast for our region and the nation.  He views these opportunities as an important way to inform the public about what is happening in the economy; but it is also important to hear what people are experiencing in the current economy.  These conversations can inform and help shape his research.  His two main areas of research focus on labor economics and demographics.

Prior to joining the Philadelphia Federal Reserve in 2016, Ryo was an analyst for Bloomberg.  He is a graduate of Kenyon College with a Master Degree from the University of Michigan in Economics.
