Fraud Expert to Speak at JCC

Wyomissing, PA — The Jewish Federation of Reading/Berks announces a special program on protecting yourself from fraud on Thursday, September 5 at 2 pm at the Jewish Cultural Center, 1100 Berkshire Blvd. Suite 125 Wyomissing. This program is free and open to the public.

Presented by David Shallcross, Senior Community Liaison and Coordinator of the Elder Abuse Unit of the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General the program is called “Protect Yourself From Fraud”.  Shallcross is a specialist on fraud against older adults and is the Attorney General’s designee on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Elder Justice Advisory Council.  He is also a certified instructor in Community Crime Prevention by The Pennsylvania commission of Crime and Delinquency.  Shallcross will share vital information and teach you how to safeguard yourself and avoid scams
